An Exciting Opportunity
Are you interested in working with a group of enthusiastic students to
design and build sophisticated engineering projects?
Machine Science is looking for college students to serve as mentors
for after-school programs in the Boston Public Schools. Each mentor
will provide guidance to a group of enthusiastic high school students,
one day a week, after school--a total of 20 to 30 two-hour sessions
throughout the year. Working with teachers, mentors will help students
complete a range of projects, including:
- A digital stopwatch.
- A digital thermometer.
- A programmable mobile robot.
- A digital music synthesizer.
Mentors are eligible for stipends or work study compensation. Several
positions are available. All locations are accessible by public
transportation.
